“ It’s a real shame I can’t give this place six stars. Around the time of the pandemic starting a friend of mine sent me a bag of merit coffee that I have never tried before it changed the game for me. Merit has now become my new number one Choice for coffee. I usually order bags and send them back on the California but always make it as a poor over. Since I was in town I decided to visit a location and ordered a latte. It was the best latte I’ve ever had in my entire life it was the most beautiful Cup of coffee. The staff was awesome the layout of the store was well done and when I came back the following day to treat a local business staff to coffee the staff was very accommodating for my large order. It’s an absolute shame that merit coffee roasters only has locations in Texas and not in other places throughout the US. Merit Coffee Roasters will always have a special place in my heart. Thank you for Producing memorable product coupled with excellent service. ”
“ I had a fantastic experience at this Merit coffee shop! The coffee was rich and flavorful, the staff was incredibly friendly, and the cozy ambiance made it the perfect spot for a relaxing morning. I'll definitely be coming back for more. I highly recommend their pour-over. Five stars! ”
“ The staff here is really kind. I appreciate them all and the service they provide. The coffee is really tasty, and they have an enjoyable environment to sit and work. There is seating inside and outside. If you're getting a drink that is not to go, they serve it in mugs. I also asked for a favor of being able to charge my phone due to not having my own charger with me, and they did do it. I wish I got the name of the young man at the front. Thank you. I recommend this place if you'd like a spot to meet, drink some coffee, work in a comfortable environment, or just even sit and relax. ”
“ Merit always seems busy, which is good if you’re a coffee shop. Busy means fresh coffee and it also showcases that you’ve got a good product. I was initially impressed with their good service and the staff. Gabe introduced himself to me and had a cool personality. I got the latte and my wife got the cappuccino. She thought her cappuccino was a little sour in comparison to many Austin area coffees. My latte was good and seemed to have consistent flavor all the way through. The atmosphere was busy, people lined up both inside and outside, so getting a seat took a little effort, but really I enjoyed the process and the coffee was quite pleasant. “ A really great place. Friendly staff, delicious and unique drinks, and a fantastic place to sit down and get some work done on your computer. I have had some of the greatest coffee drinks ever here. Their cereal milk cold brew (pictured) is absolutely amazing and I've been wracking my head trying to recreate it! And just their regular cold brew by itself is so good. Also, their strawberry matcha is the greatest I've ever had. It was such a hit at the time, they decided to add it to the menu permanently! They have a great rotation of seasonal drinks that are always one-of-a-kind. The staff is really friendly too, and I've had some great conversations with them about coffee! Definitely come by and grab something with your friends or get some work done! ”
“ One of the best strawberry matcha lattes I've had in Austin. The flavors of matcha and strawberry were well-balanced and came through all the way to the last sip. The atmosphere is cozy making it a great spot to relax. It’s a bit on the pricey side, but definitely worth it for the quality and experience. ”
“ Great place the barista’s were pretty kind especially Lily who helped me choosing my drink. I recommend this place 100%. ”
“ It took me a while to try this place but when I did I was not disappointed. It can be pricey if you get into specialty drinks but they regular coffees are not bad. I'm basic most of the time so I just get drip coffee or cold brew, both of which are great here. They also have frozen cold brew. Yum. Pastries are also delicious. The place is always full so don't recommend for a spot to catch up or study but great coffee. I've brought beans home too and makes for great coffee at home. ”
